We take pride in owning and breeding our Southdown Babydoll Sheep. We do have both registered and unregistered sheep. These spectacular animals are great to have on any farm. Origin

Southdown Babydoll Sheep are on of the oldest breeds of sheep. Originating from England, their official name is Olde English Babydoll Southdown Sheep. They came to the United States in the 1800's. Then bred with larger sheep as their size were not ideal for mass production.
Characteristics

Height: 18" to 24"
Weight: 75 lbs. (average) to 140 lbs.
Life Expectancy: 12-16 Years
Color: White, Black, or speckled. Each sheep will have its own unique coloring.
Horns: Naturally Pulled (meaning they are born without horns)
Purpose

Southdown Babydoll Sheep have a very gentle and sweet temperament. With this in mind and their small size, these adorable sheep are perfect for a homestead or hobby farm. On your farm, they will serve as great pets, mow your yard, fertilize, and are perfect if your want to create cashmere-like fleece.
